Server Administration: To manage Linux based servers.—Must have exp. On
1. Troubleshooting problems related to FTP, DNS, Mail servers and Restarting web services such as http, ftp, etc.
2. Troubleshooting website & server related issues.
3. Troubleshooting MYSQL server problems & Front Page issues
4. Remote Installations on Linux Servers (Installing PHP Modules, MailEnable, Control Panels, Security and monitoring software’s, etc.).
5. Securing Servers and Tuning up Server and Server Applications.
6. Installation & worked on Red Hat Linux 9.0 and Enterprise Linux 3 and 4. CentOS 4.3
7. Maintenance and troubleshooting of Apache Web servers, DNS server, Mail servers (Send-Mail, Exim) related problems, PHP with Apache compilation. My SQL, PHP-MyAdmin-Must
8. Setting up Domains/sites/virtual host, DNS and name-servers
9. Installing SSL certificates and setting up SSL hosts.
10. Installing, configuring and troubleshooting various third party tools, utilities and applications
11. Setting up APF firewall and mod_security on Linux servers.
12. Maintenance of server on which more than 1000 domains are hosted, it includes installation and maintenance of common utilities and applications, File system management, Daily backup.
13. Worked with Web-based server-administrating tools like Web Host Manger, C-Panel and Plesk.-Must
14. Worked with various web based customer support systems like Perl Desk, PHP Support Desk, Kayoko e-Support etc.
15. Trace Spammers and Detect attacks on server. Load management on servers and trace malicious activities and scripts on server.
