Urgent SQE Manager for Leading MNC in Hyderabad, India.
About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and dynamic individual to lead a team of Search Quality Evaluators who help improve the quality of Google's search results. This is an operational role for a web-savvy, energetic and motivated self-starter who is passionate about team-building and creating a great experience for users of Google's internet search. Applicants should have experience managing, training and developing operations representatives in a user centric environment.
Responsibilities:
· Lead a team of evaluators responsible for reviewing websites for quality and content.
· Take a lead in developing and implementing best practices for troubleshooting website issues and identifying areas of concern and interest.
· Work collaboratively with peers in several global offices as part of the Search Quality Evaluation global management team and exchange best practices
· Help build team structure, recognize leadership potential, and develop enhanced skill sets within the team.
· Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for development and proactively suggesting and implementing new systems and structures.
· Provide regular reports on growth and performance of the department, and develop metrics to measure this growth.
· Act as a point of escalation for problems and liaise with engineering team.
Requirements:
· Should have strong analytical ability and good technical skills.
· Need to have a quick learning ability so as to understand the nuances of the advertising model/search system and to figure out patterns of spam.
· Should have some exposure to handling spam/abuse in the online world. Should have demonstrated high level of integrity in the past.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Should have a few years of prior operations management experience.
· Should have managed teams and have experience of managing people.
· Great process management and multi-tasking abilities.
· Passionate about the Internet and strong computer applications.
· Passion for learning and creative problem-solving.
· Proven track record of success in previous work experiences.
